Client care

Ring sizing, without the guesswork.

A precise size is the best foundation for comfort. Use these guidelines as a starting point, then ask the studio for help when the fit is uncertain.

01

Best starting point

Begin with a ring that already fits.

If possible, have a well-fitting ring measured by a local jeweler. Measure a ring worn on the same finger and hand, since sizing can vary between fingers.

02

Fit

Between sizes or unsure?

Band width, temperature and personal comfort all affect fit. Contact the studio before ordering instead of guessing, especially for a wider band or a piece intended for daily wear.

03

A surprise

Choosing a ring as a gift.

Borrow a ring worn on the intended finger and have it measured. Avoid tracing or measuring with flexible string, which can introduce meaningful error.

04

Custom work

Confirm size before production.

For a custom ring, confirm sizing before final design approval. Most rings can be resized if the design allows; contact John to confirm what is possible for your piece.
